This collective experience enables the company to deliver comprehensive construction and management services across a wide range of project types.

Surety Construction was founded in 1979 by David Kelly, built on a steadfast commitment to exceptional workmanship delivered according to plan, within budget, and on schedule. That commitment remains the foundation of the company today.

In 1995, Terry Kelly became President and served for 29 years, continuing the company’s long tradition of excellence. He transitioned into a semi-retired role, on March 1, 2024, and now serves as acting Director, providing continued leadership, guidance, and oversight. Jeremy Dean has assumed the role of President, now leading the organization’s daily operations and strategic direction. Cindy Floyd serves as the Majority Shareholder and continues in her role as Secretary and Treasurer. John Hardin and Eric Bjelland now serve as the Vice Presidents, providing hands-on leadership while advancing the company’s mission and upholding its long-standing reputation for quality.

Together, this experienced leadership team offers expertise in design-building, construction management, and general contracting services. Their diverse capabilities allow Surety Construction to successfully plan and build spaces that meet a broad spectrum of client needs.
